Global Echo’s Legal Department brings extensive expertise in international humanitarian law, international human rights law, Israeli military and administrative law, and corporate accountability. Its attorneys hold decades of experience litigating before Israeli and foreign courts, engaging UN bodies, and representing Palestinian victims across multiple jurisdictions. Drawing on experience in both domestic and international legal systems, including work in conflict-affected contexts worldwide, the department conducts legal research, develops case strategies, and prepares litigation grounded in rigorous analysis and evidentiary standards. With deep familiarity with the laws, policies, and practices shaping corporate involvement in Israel’s occupation, the Legal Department ensures that Global Echo’s investigations translate into effective, high-impact legal action.
Global Echo’s Investigative Unit combines advanced techniques in Open Source Intelligence (OSINT), Social Media Intelligence (SOCMINT), and gathering human intelligence through interpersonal contact and undercover investigations (HUMINT). Our methods include geolocation and spatial verification techniques; systematic reviews of corporate registries, land records, and public archives; targeted freedom of information requests; and field surveillance conducted in coordination with partners and affected communities. Our investigators are fluent in Hebrew, Arabic, English, and draw on extensive experience with the legal, bureaucratic, physical, and cultural contexts in Israel and Palestine. Working across borders with direct access to both victims and perpetrators of corporate abuses, Global Echo’s investigators uncover evidence unavailable to others.
Global Echo’s International Advocacy Department advances the organization’s legal and investigative work through public, political, and institutional engagement. The department brings expertise in human rights communications and advocacy across Israeli, Palestinian, and international contexts. Through strategic engagement with the legal and political frameworks that enable corporate involvement in Israel’s occupation, the department informs policymakers, shapes public discourse, and strengthens efforts to hold corporations accountable for abuses committed under Israel’s occupation.
Global Echo’s Community Engagement Department maintains direct, trusted relationships with Palestinian communities affected by corporate abuses. The team brings extensive experience documenting human rights violations in the Occupied Palestinian Territory, liaising with litigants on strategic legal actions, and coordinating our work with local civil society efforts. Through sustained relationships with affected communities and knowledge of the legal, social, and geographic realities on the ground, the department ensures that Global Echo’s legal, investigative, and advocacy efforts are informed by and responsive to the priorities and experiences of those most directly impacted by corporate complicity in Israel’s occupation and apartheid regimes.
Global Echo’s International Advisory Council is composed of ad-hoc, external experts in Palestinian human rights, international law, and corporate accountability.
